Tytan and Shane are so excited for Open Season this coming Friday. They went to the shooting range to sight in his rifle. That means lining up the scope on his rifle for a straight shot, for those of you who do not hunt. Tytan had a blast helping Shane! I try to be a supportive wife, but secretly hope they don't get anything because I don't want to eat it!

LOL...just because you said that they will bring home a huge elk or something!
Elk is actually good. Deer, not so much. Hope that they get elk and have Shane make it into burger. That's what we eat on a regular basis for beef and it's not bad.
Your boys will have such fun memories with their Dad. My Dad made me get my hunter's safety licence when I was twelve. I was mad because I had to miss two episodes of Friends. But it was so fun to go hunting with him. He and Grant went deer hunting next week. My Mom has the same secret wish you do. She hates venison.
