Palouse Discovery Science Center

Since I'm home with the kids now, we bought a family pass to the Palouse Discovery Science Center. Tytan loved digging for dinosaur bones in lentils and the live animals. The twins were confined to the stroller most of the trip, but they did love the area with the froggy carpet, musical instruments and foam climber. Jaxon was thrilled with seeing himself in the mirror on the wall and Madox loved the orange stacking cones. Mommy loved the room with a big comfy couch and every animal movie imaginable.

Jaxon the ham!

I know what you're thinking, but do you know what I'm thinking?

I'm ready for Hollywood!

Welcome Home Sammy

Yesterday we brought home our newest family member, Sammy. He is a Rat Terrier and was born November 24, 2008. (Same as Aunt Cortney :)) We really wanted to get Tytan a puppy for Christmas this year, but with traveling we decided to wait until we got home. Tytan got to pick him out at the pet store and hasn't put him down yet. The babies aren't too sure about him, but I think they'll warm up to him.

Our New Years gift, from Mother Nature

Before AND...

After three feet of snow and ice.
When we got home from CA and Vancouver, this was the scene that greeted us. Minus about 800 lbs. of ice that Shane had already scooped off the patio cover before taking pictures. We had all the kids, plus 4 suitcases, we (Shane) had to carry through the thigh high snow that had accumulated in our yard to get to the back door. Now if only the roads would open so the insurance adjuster could assess the damage. I'm guessing the additional foot of snow that fell last night will keep him away another day or more. Who asked for a White Christmas anyway?
