We got the inside of the house decorated just in time for me to end up in the hospital having contractions every three minutes leading to bed rest. I hadn't done any Christmas shopping so Shane got to shop for everyone and I had to lay on the couch and watch the festivities. I was just glad to be home instead of spending Christmas in the hospital. Tytan was a crack up on Christmas morning. He looked at the presents Santa brought and just wanted to eat breakfast. After opening a few he got the hang of it and tore into the rest of the presents. My best gift was a pink Kitchen-Aid mixer from Shane, now if only I was allowed to get up and cook.
Of all the years we have lived in Pullman, this was the most snow I have ever seen. We had almost 2 feet of snow fall over a two week period and Tytan had a blast playing in it.
We had a blast getting all dressed up and dancing at the beautiful fall themed reception in honor of Trevor and Joanie tying the knot. Pictures coming soon.
We found pumpkins at the Tukey Orchard on the WSU campus this year. We took a tractor ride and drank hot apple cider. Tytan had more fun throwing mud balls and trying to fight with them than finding a pumpkin. Eventually we found our pumpkin family complete with a set of twins.
On Friday night we went to Tytan's second Halloween Party at the WSU Children's Center. He dressed up as a turtle, but as we got into the car he started crying saying he wanted to be a giraffe. I couldn't find the giraffe pants, so his turtle costume had to do. He loved fishing for candy, frosting cookies and sliding with his classroom friends. He finally gave the Cougar mascot, Butch, a high five after Daddy made it fun by growling at Butch.
